Brownie Truffles


These decadent and savory truffles can easily be made from scratch. They are incredibly easy to make and are very addicting.

Makes: 30 servings
Total Prep Time: 55 minutes
Ingredients:


  • 4 ounces of unsweetened baking chocolate 
  • 1 cup of butter, soft 
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups of white sugar  
  • 1 tsp. of pure vanilla  
  • 1 ¼ cups of all-purpose flour 
  •  ½ tsp. of baker’s style baking powder  
  • 12 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips  
  • 3 Tbsp. of butter

Directions:
 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a baking dish with cooking spray.
 2. In a bowl, add in the butter and unsweetened baking chocolate. Microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute or until melted. Stir well to mix.

 3. In a separate bowl, dd in the eggs, white sugar and pure vanilla. Beat with an electric mixer until fluffy in consistency. Add in the melted chocolate mix. Beat well to incorporate.
 4. In a separate bowl, add in the all-purpose flour and baking powder. Stir to mix and add into the chocolate mix. Stir well until just mixed.
 5. Pour into the baking dish. 
 6. Place into the oven to bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until baked through. Remove and set aside to cool completely. 
 7. Roll the brownie mix into 35 balls and place onto a baking sheet lined with a sheet of parchment paper. Cover and place into the freezer to chill for 20 minutes or until firm.
 8. In a bowl, add in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and 3 tablespoons of remaining butter. Melt in the microwave for 30 seconds.
 9. Dip the truffles in the melted chocolate. Place back onto the baking sheet.
 10. Place back into the fridge to chill for 5 minutes or until the chocolate is set. 
 11. Serve.
